Dog diseases can present themselves more or less intensely and with different symptoms, in some cases they are serious but treatable diseases, in other cases unfortunately we are faced with viruses that can seriously affect the health of our 4-legged friend

  • Anaplasmosis

    Also called “dog fever,” this is a bacterial infection that occurs within a couple of weeks of infection. Symptoms may include decreased appetite, lethargy, vomiting, diarrhea, and fever.
  • Borreliosis of dogs
    Bacterial disease commonly called “Lyme disease” that is transmitted by wood ticks. Symptoms can develop months after the sting and include fever, poor appetite, swollen joints and fatigue.
  • Ehrlichiosis
    It is a parasite that attacks the red blood cells in the body. We can divide it into three stages: acute, subacute and chronic. Symptoms ranging from exhaustion to slimming through bleeding of various types, tremors, or atrophy.
  • Canine hepatitis
    Also called Cav-1, caused by an adenovirus that mostly affects the liver. It can occur mildly or acutely, but if neglected it can be fatal.
  • Didophilariasis
    This is a lethal parasite transmitted by mosquito bite, which migrating through the blood reaches and nests in the heart chambers and blood vessels of the dog’s heart
  • Anger
    The best-known disease is caused by a virus that directly attacks the nervous system, a very serious and currently incurable condition. Rabies leads our four-legged friend to exhibit severe behavioral problems ranging from fear to aggression, in the course of the disease then fever, paralysis or convulsions take over, eventually leading to death.
  • Leishmaniasis
    A serious disease that affects several organs and systems, including the skin, eyes, joints, and kidneys. The symptoms are so varied and general that it is difficult to diagnose it exactly.
